Can you believe it? Another month gone! And what a tirck and treat filled month it was! A month that saw the Cute Mascot get a creepy makeover, the Clown Mascot get some creepy makeup, and yours truly get boiled alive by witches! And what about all those great crafters and designers we met like Tiny Oyster, Kangarookid, and Cute But Deadly to name a few! And then there was our fantastic Halloween puzzle! Did you work out who was wearing that ill fitting pumpkin?
Incredible! It was the Junior Mascot! Who’d have thought he’d have ordered the wrong sized pumpkin for his Halloween costume! Still, at least he’s got a few more hours left to sort out another outfit before tonight’s festivities! Which reminds me… happy Halloween everybody! I hope you all have a fright filled night packed with plenty of sweet, sweet candy! But don’t overdo it, folks, because we need you right back here next month to enjoy all the tasty kawaii treats we’re going to be serving up to you! Delicious!
See you all in November.
Your host with the most,
Ed Mascot :)

With Halloween only a few days away it may be a little late to pick up a tasty treat for this years celebrations. But then again, if puppies aren’t just for Christmas, then why should monsters just be for Halloween? Why not buck tradition and get yourself a monster gift whenever you feel like it? Sound like a good idea? Then I’ve got just the guy to help you out…
See what I mean? The amazing designs you are looking at above have been created by an exceptionally talented artist and designer by the name of Exit Man. And at the Exit Man RedBubble shop you can pick up these marvellously monstrous creations on posters, cards, prints and more. And the absolute best part is… you definitely don’t have to wait for Halloween to treat yourself to these wonderful works!

Dear Clown Mascot,
As this blog seems to have dedicated itself to Halloween this month, I thought now would be a good time to write to you with a truly terrifying notion that recently occurred to me. You see, like most ‘normal’ people I find clowns like yourself to be… hmmm, how can I put this tactfully? Creepy beyond belief sounds about right! Anyway, while this fear normally goes unnoticed in my day to day life, I recently began to wonder how different things could be if this happened…
A frightening thought, as I’m sure many of your readers will agree, but one that would surely never happen…? Well, given that the nightmare that was 1980s has recently seen a revival in fashion and music, I fear that a world where looking like a clown became de rigueur could be a lot closer than we think! After all, if the youth of today think the 1980s were cool, surely looking like a clown can’t be far behind! I mean, remember the New Romantics? Urghhh! Anyway, just thought I’d share this concern with you, and see what you thought.
Jeffery, you can rest assured that this brand new world you fear so much will absolutely never happen! Trust me on this! I’ve been trying to popularise clowns for years, and believe me when I say… there ain’t no one buying! Although, on a personal note, I do think your Clown Cosmetics look absolutely brilliant!
Always the outsider,
Clown Mascot :)

As regular readers have probably noticed this month’s blog seems to have been entirely dedicated to Halloween. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining about this, far from it, but as a part of the older generation I do miss the Halloweens of my youth - particularly the wonderful cards that were used to celebrate this joyous holiday! Well great news readers, because now, thanks to work of Golden’s General Store, I can once again relive those happy years! And so can you…
Incredible, isn’t it? The amazing works you are looking at above are just a fraction of the beautifully restored vintage cards available from Golden’s General Store at Zazzle. And don’t just think they sell Halloween cards either! This shop has got vintage cards for every occasion, and posters, and clothing, and much, much more besides! So the next time you’re looking for a timeless classic to surprise your friends with, you’ll know where to go, wont you?
Old school rules,
Senior Mascot :)

Hooray! It’s puzzle time! And this month I’ve got a truly diabolical one for you! A puzzle so terrifying it’ll even have the Monster Mascot running for the hills! Can you guess what kind of puzzle it is? That’s right, it’s a Halloween puzzle! And what do we need for a Halloween puzzle? Why, a pumpkin of course! And what do we do with that pumpkin? Well, let’s have a look…
Yip, that’s right, we stick that aforementioned pumpkin on someone’s head! But wait! It looks like the eye holes in this particular pumpkin are in the wrong place for this mascot’s head! What a disaster! I guess this mascot is just going to have to find himself another pumpkin to complete his Halloween costume! So the question is… can you work out which mascot is under the ill fitting pumpkin before he takes it off? Well, can you? Find out if you can when the answer is revealed in this month’s monthly round-up!

It’s not always easy to find the perfect Halloween gift - well, not one that will have lasting appeal that is! I mean, sure, you can always buy a trick or treating bag, or a Happy Halloween t-shirt, but what are you going to do with them once Halloween is over? See the problem? Well, great news folks, because thanks to an amazing graphic artist named Amy Crabtree, I reckon this problem has been well and truly solved…
Yes, that’s right, it’s the ideal Halloween gift that keeps on giving - Cute But Deadly keyrings! These wonderful Cute But Deadly keyrings have been produced in association with the equally wonderful Flatties - fine purveyors of urban toys and art! The keyrings (of which there are eight different designs in two different colours) can be purchased from the Flatties website, and at a mere £4 for two you aren’t likely to break the bank by collecting them all! And the best part is… a keyring isn’t just for Halloween, it’s for life! Woohoo!
Keeping it cute and creepy,
Ghost Mascot :)
P.S. You can see more of Amy’s amazing artworks at Cakes With Faces. Enjoy!

As regular readers will know I’m a big fan of cute gifts and goodies. And, given the previous posts we’ve had this month, you’ll probably also know that Halloween is just a fortnight away. So, you’re probably wondering to yourself, what on earth am I about to share with you that is both cute and that celebrates Halloween? Well wonder no more, folks, and take a look at this…
What you are looking at above are just some of the fantastic creations available from Monster2Market. And yes, you’re right, they really are that cute! Monster2Market is an utterly adorable Etsy shop that sells some seriously sweet creature creations - including plushies, stickers, hairclips, keyrings, and more! In fact, it’s even got some customised dolls in there too! Perfect!
Your happy Halloween helper,
Doll Mascot :)

Dear Ed Mascot,
I’m writing to congratulate you on your fantastic blog - no really, I am! You see, I’m a huge fan of Halloween who thinks this incredible holiday doesn’t get the justice it deserves - well, not here in the UK anyway! It seems that shops here would much rather fill their shelves with Christmas tat (as early as August in some cases!) than to mark this wonderful holiday! So it really is a treat to find a blog that’s not afraid to fill its pages with Halloween treats for a whole month! And, by means of a thank you for this wonderful service, I have created this for you…
Yes, that’s right, it’s a lovely Halloween inspired picture of yourself being boiled alive in a cauldron by some horrible witches - after all, what better way could there possibly be for me to express my gratitude for all the fine Halloween work you’ve been doing here at this blog! Please keep up the good work, and pass on my regards to your colleagues, particularly the more monstrous ones among them!
Damien Damienson. Aged 7.
Thanks Damien. Your kind words are greatly welcomed! And thanks also for your picture of me being boiled alive by witches - it’s always nice to feel appreciated! At least, I think it is…
Have a Happy Halloween,
Ed Mascot :)

It’s always nice to feel appreciated in life. Although for monsters like myself that appreciation can sometimes seem hard to come by! So I’m sure you can imagine my excitement when I heard about an artist who not only appreciates monsters, but also creates amazing artworks that celebrate our ghoulish goodness! His name is Kangarookid, and his work looks a little something like this…
Marvellous, isn’t it? Kangarookid is a very talented artist and designer who creates magnificent monsters, the likes of which are sure to get any Halloween fan in the mood for tricks and treats aplenty! At his RedBubble store you can buy these monstrous creations on t-shirts, stickers, posters, cards, and more! And, I’m more than happy to report, he’s even got some zombies too! Happy days!
Your monster maestro,
Zombie Mascot :)

As fun holidays go, they don’t get much better than Halloween. It’s got costumes, it’s got games, it’s got parties, and it’s got lots and lots and lots of candy! Delicious! In short, Halloween seems to be one of these rare occasions that really does have something for everyone! And something else that has something for everyone is the shop I’m about to introduce you all to. And here it is…
Ta da! What you are looking at above is just a sample of the fine goods available from The Halloween Spot Zazzle shop. The Halloween Spot sells a great selection of family friendly Halloween clothing, cards, and gifts. And, as if that wasn’t enough of a treat for all you Halloween fans out there, it even sells some seriously cool bags too - just the ticket for carrying all that Halloween candy you’ll be picking up! Have fun!
Keeping treats tasty,
Junior Mascot :)

Dear Cute Mascot,
As a regular reader I reckon I know this blog as well as I do the back of my own hand. And given that we’ve now reached the month of October that can only mean one thing! You know what I’m talking about - the annual transformation from the KawaiiPunk Kawaii Mascot Blog into the KawaiiPunk Halloween Monster Fest Blog! And so, I thought to myself, what greater opportunity could there be for me to create another one of my amazing mascot makeovers? So here goes…
Ta da! As you can see this particular mascot makeover has something of a twist to it. Rather than trying to improve your look, by making you look even cuter, I’ve decided instead to make you look as hideous as possible - all in the name of Halloween, of course! I’ve achieved this remarkable transformation by changing your complexion, giving you some fangs, and dressing you in a full length cape - the perfect sartorial choice for many a monster! Looks great doesn’t it?
Your makeover master,
Wow! That really is quite the transformation you’ve given me there, Tamara. Although I have to say, at the risk of raining on your parade, I still reckon I look pretty darn cute :)
Keeping it kawaii,
Cute Mascot :)

Aaaarrrgh! Hello again readers. It’s me, the Monster Mascot! Back for my favourite month of the year… October! And why is October my favourite month, I hear you ask! Well, because of Halloween of course! So let’s get this gruesome month off to a monstrous start, shall we? Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, I present to you the wondrous world of Tiny Oyster…
Ghoulishly good, isn’t it? Tiny Oyster is an Etsy shop that specialises in creating amazingly cute plush monsters - and what a collection they have too! They’ve got sea monsters, ice monsters, even vampire bat monsters! There’s blue monsters, orange monsters, green monsters… in fact, there’s pretty much every colour of monster you could ever imagine! And there’s even some sprites and imaginary friends too! What a great place to kick off your Halloween, wouldn’t you agree?
Your monster master,
Monster Mascot :)
